I have a BA in English Language and Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland, College Park. I’m also a few credits shy of a BS in Socio-Cultural Anthropology with a concentration in Oral Narratives, Mythology, and folklore (from the same school). Presently, I’m working on my Masters Degree in New Media Journalism at Full Sail University. While deployed to Iraq in 2009, I became fed up with a lack of critical feedback for my fiction, and created on online writing circle that now has members from all over the globe. I believe The Fighting Writing Fish is the very first writing workshop ever founded in a war zone. My first publicly available project will be online December 12th, 2012. Legends of Eden is a new kind of story; one that combines many traditional mediums: prose, the graphic novel, the audio book, animation, and film. These seemingly distinct, and incompatible mediums will merge into a unified whole—online, on e-book readers, on smart phones, on tablet computers…and eventually even the pages of a traditional book. Legends of Eden is a collaborative serial transmedia novel; one that will be created from the direct interaction, and participation of its audience.
