Welcome to my FOB, er…Blog

Welcome to An American Otaku in Baghdad!  I hope you enjoy your visit.

I write fiction.

I wrote this blog.

This blog is fiction.

(I.E. The opinions expressed here are my own, and do not represent the US government or it’s policies, foreign or domestic; the US Army; or any of the armed services.)

Please do not ask for details.  (Where I work, what I do, who I am, ect, ect.)

Many of these posts will be vague.  This is not because I’m lazy–it’s intentional.  Information is a weapon.  I will not give my enemies a loaded gun, and ask them to shoot me with it.  Sorry.

Deal with it.

There will be no rhyme or reason to my posts, or their frequency.  My family comes first, then my fiction, and finally my job.  This blog is a hobby right now.

When my writing starts paying the bills, perhaps I will update on a more regular schedule.  If you like my posts, that’s great.  Don’t ask me when the next one will be.  Don’t complain that it’s been forever and a day since my last post.

I’d be happy for suggestions for posts, or comments on anything that I post.  But unless you start sending me some $$$, don’t think you’re entitled to regularly schedualed posts.

Deal with it.

I’m happy to have a spirited discussion, and even disagreements.  However, I don’t have the time, or paitence to deal with immature-emo-passive-aggressive-bipolar bitch fits.

If you have something intelligent to say, by all means, say it.

Otherwise, keep your mouth shut.

Got a problem with that?

Deal with it…

Have a nice day!  ; )
